Upcoming Content & Patron Update

Hello everyone,

We hope everyone is staying healthy and safe.

As shared in our previous Patreon post, our next release on the channel will be a non pop-culture project. A few weeks back, as we were catching up with people around us, we realized once again the impact the current situation has had on some industries and how it's affecting all of us. We discussed with Tomoharu Shono, who owns more than 10 ramen restaurants in Japan and overseas and whom we filmed with two years ago in Shoku. He told us about the impact on his restaurants, his initiatives and his views on the food industry, particularly hit during these times of pandemic.

This motivated us to create an interview video featuring Shono, which will come out soon. This is quite new to us, but if we see interest, we are thinking of developing it into a series, following people who are taking action for their business during the crisis. Additional ideas to pursue the series include a look at the event industry, among others.

We also want to talk about another upcoming content, this time centered around music. As many artists overseas were showcasing their performances from home, we thought we could pay a visit to some Japanese musicians, most of whom have had all their live performances canceled, filming them perform and share it on the channel.

Of course, there are still other projects pop-culture related planned or in the works, with more info coming soon.
