Status Update

Hi everyone,

We know it's been a while since we shared any news -  but please be assured there's been a few projects in the works. Our documentary on animation director Mahiro Maeda is set to be a long one, probably the longest portrait we have ever done so far, we hope to be able to share more soon (still juggling with work projects as well to maintain everything).

Meanwhile, we keep discussing about a renewal for the channel - with the launch of a new series named "Tokyo Medley", focusing on portraits of Japanese people, not necessarily revolving around pop culture (a spiritual successor to the toco toco series in a way).

One portrait has already been filmed, but we're still hesitating on one key aspect. One idea we have is to feature two people per episode, where we create a duality in the profiles even though they are originally unrelated. The other is to stick to a more classic format and stay on one person/episode.

Let us know your thoughts, either here or on Discord!

Thank you for your support.

I'm a new Patreon, but I must confess that the quality of your material is so high, that all topics would achieve a great result. Although I prefer content focused on creators, I'll still be supporting you all.

Personally prefer the classic format of one person. But its not like I'd wouldn't watch a dual. It would be interesting to see your approach to that too.

I absolutely love the idea n.n and try both I would say. I'm not sure which one I would prefer if individual or dual portrait.

Tokyo Medley sounds awesome. Id watch the heck out of that. I loved toco toco.

Do the crazier thing.
