Man where do I start. Quite honestly I wasn't even expecting this to happen for AT LEAST another 2 years. But, sometimes you total your car. And sometimes your credit score goes up a lot in 3 years since your last car. And sometimes a bank is dumb enough to give you a lot of money. Anyway, much like you all knew, I finally got my Model S.
Hey! I'm a man of my word. If I recall, I said in the Jak II Let's Play while running around the Strip Mines that I would one day own a Model S. Now I will say I'm a bit behind on telling you guys here. I picked the car up June 6th, and I'll be honest it was stressful and anxiety risen for a few reasons. I ordered it from Tesla's pre-owned website, site unseen on May 4th. So it took a month to get to New York. And by the time it was HERE in New York, they finally sent me pictures of the actual car. And it was in terrible shape.
Terrible shape, with an approved auto loan. THEN, 2 days before delivery they tell me the Sunroof isn't working and that they might have to delay delivery. This is after a month of waiting for a car I've never seen up until a few hours ago. Needless to say, I'm borderline ready to freak because I'm committed to buying this thing.
Once I arrived there though, it wasn't so bad. The detail guys did an incredible job making it look as good as it could. Unfortunately, that's all Tesla can do. As the company recently changed their pre-owned program 2 months ago that they wouldn't do major cosmetic fixes. So a detail is all I got. No fix to any dings or curb rash on wheels. And as you can see in the picture above, the wheels are curbed to shit.
But once you get in and drive, you kind of forget the small stuff and realize you're in a really great car. I'm sure this blog post can go on for much longer because admittedly I didn't take any video (I know, I really should have). So there's a lot more I can talk about. Also! Please keep in mind I still make very little from YouTube. I have a day job that pays me just well enough to afford this. Patreon is still about justifying my time to continue YouTube at a more reasonable pace. A lot of people see these cars as status symbols, and I can see why because they're so expensive. But as a car enthusiast, and tech enthusiast, you can't not love these things for what they really are. Kick ass.
I'll leave you with a few pictures for now. In a few days I'll upload a video on here for you all and show you around the car. Also, how you guys feeling about Sony's footage from E3? For their 4 major games? Which one excites you most? I'll admit Death Stranding still peaks my interest like no other but you cannot deny that TLOUII kiss. SO REALISTIC.

Last gasoline fill up! It was my rental car. And guess what! It was a brand new Nissan Altima. My my, how it comes full circle.

Also just for the hell of it, this is me preparing for my friends wedding on Saturday coming up.
