It's update time!

Hey everyone!

Hope you're all enjoying the cooler fall weather. Speaking as two guys who ride their bikes everywhere, humidity sucks, and it's nice to not have to bring a dry change of clothes anytime we want to go somewhere. 

We know we've been quiet since our last release, but it's not for a lack of upcoming content, so we wanted to update you with what to expect in the near future and catch you up on anything you may have missed. 

For the most part we've been working on a big Auralnauts push that will get us moving away from Youtube and closer to showing up on TV screens, possibly even in theaters. We'll always recognize Youtube as a place that allowed us to develop one of the best audiences the internet has ever known, make no mistake. At the same time, Youtube seems happy pushing channels like ours further into the fringes in favor of cynical rants and faux-boxing matches between YT celebrities. We don't mean to sound resentful, but a live event manager from Youtube literally called that boxing match "The future of Youtube". So. There you have it. It's either pick a fight with Logan Paul (which we're not opposed to), or pitch TV show ideas to people eager to work with us. We've got some great pitches out there, so hopefully we can talk more about those soon.

That's not to say we aren't making anything for our channel. Video wise, we've got something -surprise surprise- Star Wars related coming soon. One one hand, most of you seem to prefer our SW content. On the other hand, it'll be unlike anything else we've ever done. We're having a blast writing it, so we can't wait to put it out there. We're also working on a special Halloween episode of Fictional Fight Commentary for the boys and ghouls (sorry, but we're Tales from the Crypt fans. Tis the season for Crypt Keeper puns). After that will be finishing up a fun new music video that will hopefully rival Sweatpants in terms of insanity.

Finally, expect a new episode of the Auralnauts Podcast, where we'll most likely talk more about this stuff, in addition to anything else we've been up to lately. Speaking of podcasts, Zak has started recording episodes of a new solo podcast dealing with male mental health and becoming the baddest dude possible. It's going to be a little less family friendly than the usual Auralnauts material, but we do think there's a place for it in the world right now. He's going to bring on a new guest each episode to talk about things like ego, insecurity, dating, depression, toughness and generally trying to find your place in the world. His first confirmed guest is internet celebrity man Seanbaby. Look out for the first episode soon!
