We're back at it!

With a fidgety year behind us, and a bit of rest to have been had, we're back at it! After some very enjoyable holidays with my family I made my way back to Viborg very much inspired and itching to get back to animating. And for the past week's time that's just what I've been doing!
I've been making some adjustments to the animatic, and still have to rewrite one particular scene slightly with some extra takes from the voice actors required. But luckily there's plenty to go around in the meanwhile. You may have seen the couple of gifs that I've posted on social medias, but in case you haven't I've attached them to this post together with some non-published raw animation. Fun fact about these are that other than being first passes, they're all straight ahead animated-- which I find being a very fun process. For most of the previous episodes of Tales of Zale, what you'd see was pose-by-pose animation inbetweened in the clean-up phase. Since I was the only one animating, this was a way to economice the work load, but since we're more on this production this time around I'm able to take the liberty to create some animation that'll hopefully feel much nicer towards the end.
On one last note, I've started to delve into livestreaming again. If I had to have a New Year's resolution it may be to do more of those, especially now that I've finally gotten Open Broadcaster working. We'll have to see about that! Test livestream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=64BQhqW1lqY
