Changes to the Art Raffle + Streaming & Storyboarding News

Dear Patrons,

First thing's first I'd like to inform that I am making some changes to the Art Raffle. A couple of days ago I was approached by the Patreon support team who kindly informed me that the raffle format did not comply with their Terms of Use. Thinking about it now and with the ongoing lootbox-gambling debates I'm a bit annoyed at myself for not figuring as much, but I can only attribute my oversight to over-excitement. I'm very sorry for any inconvenience or slight disappointment this might cause.

After having had the terms clarified I'm happy to conclude that I can still have an art raffle, but that Patreon payments should just not be a factor in such an event. I think I will take some time to figure out how best to conduct the giveaway before the next one on May 5th. Perhaps I'll just have people fill out a form, or maybe I'll make a little quiz or game out of it. Feel free to join in with ideas, and I'll keep you posted as time draws near!

In other news I have been testing out my streaming setup this weekend, and it seems that things are starting to run more smoothly. There are still a few things to iron out, but I should be ready for regular streaming once I've settled at the Open Workshop.

As part of the recent stream I also put out a new video on one of my recent field trip. The video is mainly a pilot, testing out how it would work to share some of these research trips in little bite-sized bits to be played during stream or uploaded to YouTube. I'm going to try my hand at it again this week when I goo to the zoological museum to look at bison skeletons, fox paws and whatever else I can find there. Sounds fun, right?

These days are also exciting storyboard-wise as I now only have just about one scene left before I'm done with the visuals of this new draft. Afterward, I will take some time to do the scratch-sound and adjustments and then if all goes well I should be ready for a new feedback round in a couple of weeks. I will only be sharing little bits of the animatic here, as it was my impression that a lot of Patrons would rather remain unspoiled, but if you're curious and would like to be part of this feedback round by watching the new animatic and telling me what you think then by all means comment or write to me and I'll get you a link when the time comes.
