Art Book Reminder!! + General Update

I hope you're all doing well and have gotten off to a good start in the new decade!

Alrighty then, other stuff. So here are the general highlights:

EPISODE 3:

I've been at it with animation of course, though it's been a bit slow because of some of the other stuff. I did make it a New Year's resolution to get better at asking for help though, and that I've done. Right now I've got four good friends helping on a shot each, and through Open Workshop's support, I can have one of them come over as an assistant in March! So that'll be pretty nice for wrapping rough animation up. I've also been getting some voice re-takes in and making some fix-ups to the animatic here and there, though it's been a bit of a fight to get to it. The first week of the month was pretty jeopardized 'cause the Adobe license on my computer went haywire...

PROJECT BIBLE:

I've been hard at work on the text for the new and updated version of the Tales of Zale project bible while receiving consultation through the contacts I've made at The Animation Sans Frontière. The next round of that is taking place next week so I bet I'll be going into an intensive writing camp by then. On the bible illustration side, I've partnered up with a *certain* awesome illustrator who's work I really admire, and I'm super excited to see what that brings. 

PITCH:

I've got a couple of pitches coming up. First one is through ASF, the other one has yet to be made official. I might also have found a producer for the series to start with! But I won't say too much about it just yet. If that falls into place though, it's gonna be a big step toward realizing Tales of Zale as a TV-series. I've also had some meetings with possible production partners and am eagerly awaiting answers from others. So that's pretty cool.

Those are the main relevant points right now. I'm sorry if none of it is too specific, but I'd like to share all the news in full detail once it's a bit more finalized. It's been some very dense weeks though, so I wanted to at least let you know what I'd been up to.

Also, it feels like pretty much EVERY person I've ever known has been coming for a visit around town lately- What's up with that? Even people I haven't seen for 8 years who don't even work in the animation industry and have never been to Viborg. It's been fun though. And now I'm off to the next round of Animation Sans Frontiére. Which this time takes place right next door. I'm sure that'll be a blast too.
