Hey FTSim are you able to make this compatible with the Black Square Analog C208 Carvan in MSFS. Installed this and sounds dont seem to be working. I seem to still be getting the black square sounds.

Something I really miss, is the fuel injection sound during start up. Such a quintessential sound for any turbine engine and the reason, at least for me, why i cant get enough of watching them start up. Would be highly appreciated, if there could be an update with them included. :)

1/ - You have other Mods installed for the C208 ? (Mods that have custom sounds) 2/ - "C208_Sp" is not installed on the Correct "Community" folder

I had to add it to the mod sound.xml (https://flightsim.to/file/16350/cessna-208b-grand-caravan-ex-improvement-mod), not to Asobo or FTSim+ sound.xml.

😑 How that line is Missing ?! , This is usually what you'll find on the "sound.xml" file WwisePackages> MainPackage Name="Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX"/> AdditionalPackage Name="C208_Sp"/> /WwisePackages>

I never altered the original default sound folder and sounds work fine as long as the FTSim+ sound pack is not active. (EDIT): Once I added - AdditionalPackage Name="C208_Sp"/ - to the C208 EX sound.xml FTSIM+ sounds seem to be working properly.

Make sure the Default Asobo sounds are working , - Restore or Rename back the "sound" folder found inside : ...\\HLM_Packages\Official\asobo-aircraft-208b-grand-caravan-ex\SimObjects\Airplanes\Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX\

I tried the sound pack with the C208 EX mod ver. 2201.3 (https://flightsim.to/file/16350/cessna-208b-grand-caravan-ex-improvement-mod) and it didn't work. I had engine sounds when the engine wasn't running and the switches etc. in the cockpit didn't work. Any suggestions on how to get it to work with this mod?

🤔 , Maybe the "layout" file of the "nopod" is not updated ? - Try updating again the "layout" file if the sounds still not working ( you can use the "build.py" file if "MSFSLayoutGenerator" didn't work )

Hey had an issue with the installation for the nopod folder. I followed the video to a T and the sound didnt work. (i also used the other folder for the asobo caravan and it worked) so i went back into nopod and changed the sound folder back to the original and now the sound is working. Is the video outdated or something?

This sound pack for the C208 is progressing but needs a lot of work. I don't hear the turboprop roar. When I start the aircraft sounds are very silent and it does not sound like a turboprop yet. Reverse does not have the groan sound when you engage turboprop reverse. Needs work.

I think it's the touchdown noise that's missing.....I did try again and indeed the ground roll is waaayy too quiet

1/ The Default Gear touchdown & Roll are not disabled ! , Maybe are getting quieter because of the new sounds ? 2/ Didn't check the Reverse on this version , will do soon

The latest C208 sounds are great except for 2 observations........1. The touchdown / ground roll sounds are missing and 2. The deep reverse roar is not there - wondering if it could be incorporated. Otherwise, much better than the dreaded default turboprop sounds.

- open the "Community\C208_Sp\SimObjects\Airplanes" - rename "Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX" folder to "parorng_C208-nopod"

Nothing to edit !! , Only Extract and Place inside the "Community" folder ✅ 📋 This is because it is a sound "Mod" not a "full Pack" and it still requires the default sounds to work

For the C208 sounds, are we supposed to just drop the sound folder in the Community folder or should we also rename the original sound folder?

- check if "Asobo_208B_GRAND_CARAVAN_EX_Sp.PC.pck" is inside the sound folder - open the "sound.xml" with a ".txt" editor and see if this line (n°3) is included - The 2 files are Checked ?! , try to Run the "build.py" file again
