This rumor was actually before the release of the Devil’s Plan S2. I believe Hyungyu expected the hate that he might receive from the netizens and wanted to protect Haeeun that’s why this rumor has surfaced. For sure they’re still happily dating until now.

Sad that her and Hyun-Gyu are possibly broken up, but it seems like their relationship lasted quite a while!
