Looking back on 2018, big thanks to my patrons!

Hello, everyone! My first public post here, just wanted to give a big thanks to my patrons that have helped me since I launched it to help me improve myself and my work. Whether you came in late or stopped supporting me after a month or so, just know I appreciate your patronage very much, especially since it helped me replace my old mixer with this shiny new one! The one I've been using for more than a year was handed down to me and starting to mess up pretty bad, a lot of the ports simply didn't work anymore! It was thanks to you beautiful ghosties, cool ghouls, barons of brutality, and tsar of zomboes that I was finally able to replace it! See? It wasn't all spent on chicken Parmesan sandwiches to feed my fat head! This is my first bit of new equipment to help my voice output and this particular mixer has features that will cut down production time when I'm editing as well! I'm very excited to start using this. Next investment, new microphones!

Secondly, just looking back at 2018. It's mostly been me trying to move beyond Dead Rising content. While I know people enjoyed those videos a lot, they're hard for me to watch now. I don't think they're written very well, and I'm embarrassed to say my mic was some cheap Blue Snowball piece of garbage inside a box that had air conditioner padding wrapped around it. The tin can voice quality irks me.

2018 is when I decided to start focusing on my favorite game developer, Suda51. I'm really happy to see people enjoy the content relating to his library, and I'm so excited to provide more in that department! Don't get me wrong, though. I still have a couple ideas left for Dead Rising videos, and who knows? If there's ever a future project, I'll be sure to give my thoughts on it.

I'm also happy to have made those side-videos that were voted in for me to make through my patreon-exclusive poll! They're motivating me to look into even more unique videos that differ from my typical big projects.

With all that said, 2018 was a really big year for my channel, and I hope 2019 will be even bigger! I'm so excited that I'm close to finishing my "Deadly Individualism" series to focus more on my next big retrospective!
