Little Tiny Things p.86

One last little page before we finish Chapter 3, and then..!

I don't know yet but I'm pretty sure it'll be chapter 4 :D :D /D

And I'll make sure... it's a fun one.

Cheers!

Edit: "la familia" -> "pequeña familia" (which means "little family"!)

-> Previous page

-> Next page

I live 1600 km far away from my family and my hometown because of my work. I felt deeply touched by this. Your art is amazing <3

Total-socially-awkward

Coming back to check and say I loved the "pequeña familia" edit <3

Lilly

Native Spanish speaker here! I can confirm: "Hola, familia" is what we say :)

Arianod

Pepper is right: it does sound weird in Spanish, like she's addressing an unknown family. "Hola, familia" would be the most intimate way of conveying it. darklion, I wouldn't stick with "mi familia" because it sounds weird just saying "Hello, my family" in Spanish. Source: I speak Spanish and, in my native Portuguese language, it's just the same :)

Lilly

My Spanish-speaking s.o. says it should be "mi familia"

darklion

Beautiful, slightly other-worldly visual! :)

Awwwwww…

I had to take 3 years of Spanish in school, unfortunately that was over a decade ago and I've forgotten so much so I could very likely be wrong.

The Bird

I don't know about Spanish, but in French, if you'd say "Salut la famille", it doesn't sound awkward like it does in English (if you say "hello, the family" it's the "the" that makes it sound super awkward, but it's not the case in French) Could someone who speaks Spanish let me know what they think? Otherwise I'll just ask my Chilean friends next time I chat with them :)

clover

Ah I LOVE that visual

Megan Lane MacDonald

Hmm Hola la familia feels weird grammatically to me, shouldn't it be Hola mi familia? (hello the family vs hello my family)

The Bird

I really like the visual metaphor

Just a hop across the pond.
