I added the new 3mf files, they are separated because Patreon accepts .ZIP files up to 200mb

I use acrylic paint

zou 3d

What type of paint are you using to paint these?

Thank you so very much!!!

Lori Calvert

The model in the picture was painted, I ended up forgetting to make this version, thank you very much for letting me know, I will update the 3mf file 😁

I noticed in picture the fox ears are brown in back but file doesn't reflect that? Is there a file with that?

Lori Calvert

Yes! it will look very nice! Several babies will receive a Christmas hat. For Halloween I'm also planning to make some versions of the models

Use hairspray on cool plate. Aqunet is our go to. Cheap and works like a dream! Should reapply a thin coat before each print for a smooth bottom surface. Wash plate with soap and water when film gets too thick.

Spideyraccoon

what filament are you using? I've had problems printing baby dragon with certain silk filaments,OVV3D, with the tail breaking off bed. I lowered my Z offset 1 setting and it seamed to push the filament int the bed a bit more so it stuck. also raised bed heat to 70 degrees. Printer on Ender 3 Pro S1. the slicker the filament, the more it will slide across the bed. i would slow your bamboo down to 150mm/s and test that. Increase your speed until it doesn't stick and the cut your speed back 20mm/s.

I had the same problem with my textured sheet. Had to switch to the cool sheet on the X1C, and then use the smooth sheet on the Prusa MK3S+. Be careful if using the cool plate on the X1C. I used PolyTerra for one of my colors, and that stuff does not wanna come off the cool plate.

Anyone else having issues printing the fox? I have had two failures on my bambu with my textured plate. Haven't had any other prints fail multiple times.

I love these! we need a bunny soon! :D

Makers Ace

When I upload the 3mf file, it won't let me select any of my preset filament colors?

Chris

Oh, could we get a fox for Christmas with a scarf and a Santa hat, kind of like the snowmen that you did last year for Christmas?

This Printed Thing

I love it. I'm gonna print the heck outta' this guy.

To be more clear, on the models where the eyes were printed as a separate part, the eye parts were too small for the sockets. I'll print the lizard again to make sure that it got fixed. Thank you, ZOU3D, for taking care of it.

This model was painted, painting the beard is the hardest, to paint the eyes I make a paper cone. On Terri Trōtter profile in Tiktok you can see a video of her painting the frog's eyes and they look really good

For the baby fox, for the example pics do you guys paint the eyes, the brown spots and the white uner the mouth? I've been trying to make multi color prints and dabbling in painting some eyes but so far its been a hit and miss on if they look good. Painting cuts down print time significantly.

Ryan Charles

The eyes were the wrong size, very small, they are correcting the file in the "Parts" folder 😆

how was the baby lizard Eye wrong? it seemed fine when I printed it
