if you're unfamiliar with the manga it's basically an old shojo of kids who have superpowers called 'alices' and they're isolated in a boarding school where they're grouped based on their abilities and how strong said abilities are. xiao is in the dangerous class which means he does secret unsavory missions assigned by the school and has a life-threatening alice so the more he uses it the more it harms him. venti is currently in the more normal class but is upgraded later on to the dangerous class when they find out he possess another alice that allows him to control people with his voice.
