But like you said, if he would just try to play less aggressive defense, just get into a stance, and not try to pressure the ball handler so much/reach, he would become a great defender for us. Honestly, he needs to see how horford guards perimeter guys. Itβs a weird comp, but his defense on perimeter guys is so disciplined and is predicated off just staying in front of the guy and forcing a jump shot.

2025-10-26 07:50:31 +0000 UTCOne thing I notice about JKβs on ball defenseβ¦he sometimes stays parallel with the offensive players face, instead of playing in between the BALL and the BASKET. It happens on the plays where it looks like heβs about to ice a screen. Itβs basic stuff like this that I have no idea why it hasnβt gotten corrected by now. Heβs been doing this for a while.
