THE LILI COSTUME!! ๐๐
Added 2023-07-25 04:53:27 +0000 UTCIโm back from SDCC!! (Kinda sorta anyways, Iโll be in Cali for a bit before I head back home to Vegas ๐ )
But oh man, what I wonderful time I had being the offical Lili cosplayer at the Tekken 8 experience!! ๐ฅน๐ And this was just PART ONE!! Iโll be traveling to a lot of different cons and events this year to help promote the event, but Iโll talk more about that later ๐
Lil was definitely a collaborative effort: I was notified about the project pretty last minute and only has about 5 days to put it together ๐ตโ๐ซ My trusty 3D modeler Spearmaster designed the small details for me, FD Cosplay Studio made the boots, and UmbraWigs made this GORGEOUS Lili wig that I had the honor of wearing atop my head ๐ฉ๐ So thankfully all I had to worry about was the sewing, I literally could not have done this without them ๐ญ
Speaking of the sewing, it was friggin DIFFICULT!! ๐ซจ Everything had to be patterned from scratch, and mixing and matching the right shades and fabrics to look cohesive made me wanna tear my hair out ๐ซ But I managed!! And I think I nailed it honestly~
This is definitely not a character I would have ever picked for myself, itโs not really my style ๐ But I enjoyed the challenge and got a TON of compliments on my craftsmanship from a bunch of other pros I had the pleasure of working with, I wanted to cryโฆ ๐ฅฒ๐ญ๐ญโค๏ธ
Iโll share some photos and talk about the trip more later, I gotta take my mum out to go see the Barbie movie rn (2nd time for me ๐คฃโ๏ธ)
