[Behind The Scenes] Aqua's Exhibition Punishment (Exhibition, Cum Twice, Humping, Censoring, SPH, Quickshot, Fap To The Beat)

This JOI used more extensive 3D use, as well as featuring new kinks like - censoring, humping and exhibition.

Censoring & Background blurring

Censoring was performed using a fog asset I have created. It was stacked multiple times with a wiggle effect to give it a more magical feel. It was purposefully not set completely white, to fit into Aqua's clumsy nature and also allow the viewers to possibly make out some shapes.

I have decided to experiment with less detailed backgrounds - being scaled up blurry images. It seems it is very common to see done by JOI creators. Overall, it did save quite a bit of time.

3D Text?

Originally, I thought about using 3D text for the encounter with Aqua - to signify she is talking "outside". Although, I quickly realized how much harder it is to follow the text when the camera moves, and switched it back to 2D.

Background Removal

This JOI was a bit simpler to perform rotoscoping on due to white backgrounds, but there were a few troublesome assets. In the above picture, you can see that the background is not just white, it has many small dots - a nightmare to rotoscope easily. In such cases, the pen tool was used to rotoscope the characters out. Otherwise, the magic wand tool did the trick.

Script & Research

From reading about the Axis Order and watching how the community around Aqua treats her, to getting to know community-known jokes like "invisible panties", I have read extensively about Aqua's character. While Aqua in lore has similar things to "holy light", it is definitely a unique fan-base interpretation of mine. Additionally, her "clumsy" personality made it fitting to include some moments where she forgot to use "holy light". This is no doubt, a far more lore-accurate version of Aqua than my previous Aqua video.

Future plans

Reusing characters (e.g. Aqua) and not worrying too much about the fine details has allowed me to save significant time, even during studies! I will definitely be re-visiting this workflow every so often. I will also look into making a female version of this JOI, if possible.
