My sketchbook is pretty personal to me for numerous reasons but I'm glad that I have a chance to share a little bit of my process over the past few months (or even more than that...oops) It features 25 pages featuring traditional and digital sketches of studies, WIPs, and project drafts.

What I've learned through the process of putting this zine together is I really need to branch out how I use my sketchbook. Even though it's been several months, I keep using red pencil, ink, and one or two markers for color. I would like to explore more environment studies, color theory, and just more fuller compositions. That's what my art feels like it's been lacking lately and it seems to stem from how I use my sketchbook and how I approach the beginning stages of any project. It's nice to take a moment and reflect on these things.
