July Flower Mail // Updates!

Hello! 

Firstly, I am sorry it's been taking a little bit longer than usual to send out the monthly flower mail. In my last blog post I briefly mentioned that I've been having a not-so-fun time during the past month. Some of you might already know through instagram and Twitter that this is my last month working at Fickle Wish. If you haven't hear about it, Fickle Wish is a Los Angeles independent Japanese fashion shop who have announced  that they will be closing down due to being affected by COVID. Besides selling my own merch in store, I have also been working there for the past year and half! I'm just not looking forward to being unemployed soon and I'm not really sure what my next steps will be. Everything feels very uncertain right now but I know that I want to keep pushing my own art and pursue becoming fully independent through it.

Lily of the Valley Flower Mail (UPDATE!)

All SFW Lily of the Valley flower mail has been sent out today! With everything that is going on with the USPS, I am a bit stressed that my mail will end up being delayed or worse, end up in the mailroom void. If you do receive them, please let me know! I'm hoping that things will become sorted out in the next month ):

NSFW Lily of the Valley/ Foxglove Flower Mail (UPDATE!)

Here they are! My first NSFW sticker sheet! I really like how the designs have a soft and vintage nostalgic feeling to them. To be honest, I don't even know where the line is with what is consider NSFW and SFW. I can tell the difference between the two ends of spectrum, but where is the middle line?? I'm so used to seeing naked bodies in nonsexual situations that I personally don't really consider any part of the body in need to be censored. Especially when it comes to body hair. There's so many levels and things to consider but I suppose this is a good starting point for a 'NSFW' sheet. I'd like to experiment with the levels of intensity and context as I keep going with each month 🍓

In terms of shipping these out, I'm in the process of printing, cutting and packaging them! So I'm aiming to have them shipped out by monday! I'll send a quick message when I do.
