✿ August & September // Last Days of Summer ✿

Hello friends!

It's been a while since my last update on Patreon, which was about the tier changes and reducing the amount of rewards I offer. While I struggled to finish this month's reward, it was definitely less taxing on my mental and physical well-being able to focus on one illustration rather than two. Sometimes I need a little extra time in my schedule to experiment and have fun while working!

Although it's finally the beginning of September, Summer seems to want to linger a little longer. The constant rainy weather, the occasional burnt-orange monarch butterfly fluttering across my path, and the humid almost foggy air inspired this month's illustration. Originally I was referencing the Carolina Jessamine for the wrapping vines (as you'll see in the digital sketchbook zine!), but the colors weren't working and the excessive leaves felt a little much for the delicate look I was going for. My partner reminded me that sometimes you can't completely reference something that already exists and you just have to do a little make-believe along the way. 

Sweet Violet members will receive Flower Mail containing a 4" x 6" print along with a clear vinyl sticker.

Lavender members will receive a digital downloadable package with a 12-page sketchbook zine, a phone wallpaper, high-res downloadable illustrations of this month's illustration and recent fairy commissions from Twitter.

Announcement: September's billing is paused! 

• Anyone who is signed up before August 31st won't be charged for September. 
• August's rewards including the print + sticker will be available for sign-ups until September 30th. 

Those who have already been charged, their rewards will be sent out once I receive the items and those who signed up in September will be mailed out in the first week of October. 

The reason for skipping September and continuing to offer August's rewards for September is I have been offered a very short notice client work and I just won't be able to have the time + energy in my schedule for Patreon this month! I am very excited about this project but I'm unable to share any details until the project is announced. It's something I have been interested in working on so I hope you will like it too!
