I hope you will enjoy flipping through this month's sketchbook. I tried including more 1st + 2nd sketches for certain illustrations in the zine. I found that most artists can jump right in to working on their finish piece directly on top of their sketch or even use their sketch as line art. I'm not very comfortable doing that since I feel like mine tend to look like a scribbly mess and I can't "read" my lines! I usually go through a 2nd or even 3rd sketch before I feel confident enough to start on the actual illustration. Maybe one day I'll gain enough experience and confidence to just go for it!
