Command Faction Parties
Added 2024-11-23 16:54:01 +0000 UTCThis is an old mod I have neglected but finally I have recompiled it for the latest Bannerlord and fixed some issues that had developed over time. This mod allows you to:
-Instruct clan or kingdom (see MCM) to follow you or another party. 2 modes, one will follow their target and only join their battles. The other mode makes them follow once out of seeing range and have a little more autonomy.
-Instruct parties to garrison a settlement for X amount of time. Helps to prevent losing settlements once you have taken it. Art of War does this automatically. But this allows more control for any settlement.
-Instruct parties to form an army and siege enemy settlements. Make sure the army you form is strong enough to take on the settlement or they will abandon it. They will do what you say but not suicide themselves to do it.
Possible conflicts with Art of War, how to avoid:
1. Do not try to give instructions to parties under the influence of Art of War, like parties garrisoning captured settlements.
2. When instructing an army to siege a target, try to choose the closest enemy settlement as Art of War may disagree with your choice. You can disable Siege Targeting in the Art of War MCM to allow you to give any siege target instruction.

Yes, they should work together. The only conflict I can imagine is when you notice a party is under the influence of Art of War, those parties you should not try to give them instructions from this mod. For example, if you capture a settlement and art of war tells a party to garrison the settlement. You should not give this party any instructions because they will be given instructions from 2 mods. Hope that makes sense. All my mods I actually use together. My load order is around 50-60 mods when playing the vanilla map. I do always want to make my mods work together. So please let me know of any conflicts or bugs in my Discord #bug reports channel. My goal is so you can use all my mods together and even with other mods. It is can be difficult to fix every conflict though so I have to choose my battles lol. :)
