Patron Exclusive: Memoplay 26 & Friends Sample Library
Added 2023-12-17 13:14:56 +0000 UTCI’ve been working on a video about Bontempi Memoplay 26, a beautifully styled toy keyboard from 1981. The basic sound of this instrument is very simple, just a pulse wave with no way of changing the tone, but, as I discovered in my video, it really opens up when put through effects pedals. In these patches, I’ve put it through a Microcosm (by Hologram), the Generation Loss (by Chase Bliss), as well as my own Refractions effect. The results are a range of different lo-fi textures and sounds.

2024-03-15 02:39:46 +0000 UTCHi Andrew! Yes, sometimes after downloading a file sample library, you will get a message that says “The zip file was empty” followed by the exact path of the zip file. This is almost always because DecentSampler wasn’t able to write to the folder in question. A good way of troubleshooting this is to see if you can open the folder yourself. Are you able to get access to it?

2023-12-18 21:17:25 +0000 UTCHi Dave. Excited to get started unfortunately I've come across an error while trying to download the samples from the Decent plugin in Ableton saying "Zip file was empty". Am I doing this wrong?
