360 VR stereo images 8K
Added 2021-11-03 18:35:54 +0000 UTCThese images are something I've been playing with the last week or so. They are Daz models that have been rendered with Iray in stereoscopic 360 side by side. The lighting of iray is super realistic, what they call an unbiased renderer. It basically takes these models and lights them up so they look as real as you can get. Problem is it takes forever to render, even with a 3080. and on top of it it has to be rendered twice once for each eye and then merged. If there is an interest in more of these images, I will continue to produce them and release a pack once every weak or so. With the idea being that eventually I will import my vam models and render them in Daz studio with Iray.
If there is a demand, i will probably need to buy a second card, from my research it will have to be a RTX 3090. So to pay for this I'd create a new tier at $8.00 for those interested in these images and those who do not can stay with the $5.00 plan.
To view these images extract them to any folder, I prefer using Whirligig media play, you can find it on the steam store. These are large files,
under setting in whirligig choose barrel then 360, side by side stereo.

2021-12-05 15:58:33 +0000 UTCThese were just whatever for me. I was hoping you could walk around the model but it’s just a fixed perspective. Interesting but I personally would not pay extra for this feature.
