PATREON EXCLUSIVE: Do You Care More About Men Or Women Or Both (Poll Analysis)

Women suffer too, especially from anxiety, depression and yes oppression. Women have been vulnerable for a lot longer, that's not say that men don't struggle. I'm glad Alexander cares about men because male suicide needs to go down among many other issues.

I care equally however it's dangerous to care about women as a heterosexual male....so it may seem like the opposite is true. You have not created a negative at all. As man we love women but that love is not reciprocated. It's been used as a weapon against us.... It's not but still...it's a direct logical responsible reaction and conclusion....you can find common ground with those that hate you...the Jews were not going to find common ground with the Nazis. Man are under attack...from family to suicide.... definitely a worthy goal. We appreciate you.

Very good read.

What you are talking about is called Gamma Bias: https://malepsychology.org.uk/2018/12/04/why-are-there-so-many-disagreements-about-gender-issues-its-usually-down-to-gamma-bias/

I agree that love and compassion have to be the answer, rather than attacking or revenge. That sounds a lot like Jesus, btw. :)

Your videos are primarily of an admonitory nature and rightly so, as you need the truth , be it pleasant or cruel to make real changes in your life. But not serving things on a silver platter and not catering to unrealistic fanatsies might cause some people to become cynical. But of course, you do your part in clarifying your stance and this would be necessary for you to keep up despite it being a bit tedious, I think. But your advice on how being nice and answering the hate with love makes a lot of sense to me. If we neglect the disgruntled members of society, they would be the ones who would ultimately lash out due to not receiveing anything in return and commit acts of misogyny, crime, etc.

That is funny, I use them as exposure therapy too and now when I get a guy who is angry at me and saying things about all women being shitty I don't even feel angry and it actually has ended up with men being shocked that I am not angry and becoming my friend. I think sometimes just having a woman (or anyone) to listen without being reactive can help them, it must be one of the only feelings of safety they get to get things of their chest (not that I am telling other women to just deal with abuse). But if they can sit tight, every storm comes to an end xxx

Alexander, one reason I joined your patreon was because of the people in your you tube comment section. A video of yours was one of the first comments I ever made on you tube, or any online media for that matter. I was terrified I was going to get roasted, for being a woman daring to comment on a video so clearly made for men, and also because I was describing my own terrible female behavior. But I was't roasted. In fact, most of the responses I got were calm, questioning, and even encouraging, giving advice and well wishes! I was totally taken aback. I ended up having a few nice back and forth even. Around that time I had started to realize that there were a lot of people in the comment section who seemed like they actually wanted a discussion, to just talk with others about this stuff.  I have learned so much from watching their conversations. I also liked that you had regular commenters - people who are funny, and sometimes even tease you. That friendly familiarity made me want to be part of the group too. Having nice regulars also spoke to your quality as a content creator. It made me trust you more. I suspected I'd get more of the same from your patreon supporters, and that (among other things) helped make me feel comfortable enough to join. So THANK YOU to your followers for making me feel so welcome to these discussions.

I benefit quite a bit from your channel, and specific to the comments section.... I have to admit that I consciously use it as “exposure therapy” of sorts. E.g. Read some of the hateful comments - try to temper the knee jerk reaction and urge to comment back with a defensive, judgemental, or hateful comment of my own - and try not to focus on my own response but rather how/why someone could end up with such a myopic view (or ignore it entirely because someone is trolling or just wanting to be an ass). It has helped me in real life situations a number of times. I can do this on your channel though because of the way you present your own content and what I’ve learned of your personal mindset. And, while there are some toxic comments for sure there are just as many comments that are not - that are rational, thought provoking, sincere, and sometimes downright heart wrenching.

Thanks so much! You too x

I love this video Alexander and I know that when you get those comments from people trying to label you a misogynist that it must make you feel a bit shit but you are really making a difference and your channel is doing so well and yeah it is cheesy but I also think love is the answer. May you have a brilliant 2021 xxx
