Regarding shaving legs. Is this not just about emphasizing the female features. Cause, yes, women did probably not shave their legs in cave time, but they do after all naturally have less hair then men, and thus its a female characteristic to have less hair than a man, and shaving the little hair they got, emphasize this even more.

Fascinating difference in opinion between Matt and Alexander. Alexander insists there is a fundamental difference in essence between men and women, a difference in biology that extends well beyond sexual reproduction into psychology and behaviour.
That doesn’t mean there is no overlap of traits but it does mean the differences at the center of those distributions are profound and important.
Matt on the other hand prefers to downplay the distinctions and use the collective only in the statistical sense.
I do think it is possible to square both world views with the ideas of individualism, meritocracy and equality of opportunity. Sexual polarity and dimorphism do not automatically lead to sexism with its implied unfairness.
I think a utopia should celebrate the difference between the sexes rather than minimize them.
The situation with racial differences is more nuanced but I lean in the opposite direction and believe society benefits from minimizing such differences.
Ultimately I subscribe to Alexander’s world view. The whole point of the channel is to talk about masculinity. So I think most viewers must do also.
