For those who don't know, February is Zine Month, a time when people host and push out "Zine Games" which are often small and to the point. Now, I asked the Outer Consortium their opinion on the matter, and now I ask all of you:
Should I take the next SPRUGaZINE to Kickstarter?
I previously released a "thing" called The Relic Frontier which I dubbed a "SPRUGaZINE" as it was a collection of two of my games and a bit of writing, notably a setting. With Zine Month coming to a close, I debated on starting the next one, called Little Red Carpet which was going to host a few games as well as its own "Setting."
Here's the thing, the actual Kickstarter would be funding more personal artwork as well as, you know, quality control. I was simply going to be asking for $100 to throw money at an artist friend of mine and act as a whip of encouragement to get it done.
Regardless of the Kickstarter's success, I was going to produce and release the SPRUGaZINE. Most likely for free. So a question is simply, should I go with this line of action, or no. You've all opted to hand me money, so I place my faith entirely in your judgement. Either way, it will be created, just how, when, and time-wise.
