So after some thinking, I unnpaused patreon again and billing should hopefully resume for the month and people can sign up again.

I have to say some things here. The future right now is uncertain for me, I do not nearly make enough money to life on with art and will have to find a job soon.

Oktober is always busy with art stuff tho and I have some last straggler commissions open. So this month might take place as normal, more or less. However afterwards, changes are bound to happen I am afraid. I am not yet sure how i handle it, I will probably adjust the tiers to cope with the smaller amount of work time I have and I also will most likely now longer take commissions expect for some exceptions here and there, at least thats what I am thinking right now, as I said the futute is uncertain and all I can say is that I can’t continue like this. There is no joy left and I barely get by on scraps. As soon as the month begins the account is depleted again and I havent even bought food.

It is not an easy thing to admit, but I failed the only thing I ever pursued with some sort of fading passion. I do need a break and a change and some sort of security or stability.

ON THE FLIP SIDE; there is the hope that, with a secure base income I dont have to rely on comms as much and can actually draw the things I wanna draw without the constant pressure. So it might be a good thing for patreon. I have to see, I think one thing I definitely will add is a basic 1€ tier for those just wanting to help out. Then again I am not entirely sure if it was worth it, I never got past like 10 patrons, which is kinda disheartening to be honest. So in the end efforts and benefits have to balance each other, but if the shift to more personal projects actually works as I hope it does, well then it might be again.
