Solfegietto tab + "grimebreath" mp3

This latest video (https://youtu.be/55ZVFNUe8iU) kicked off with a truncated version of C.P.E. Bach's "Solfegietto". It's a killer piece that I learned many years ago but struggle to keep up with as it progresses. Maybe one day I'll revisit it to master the difficult sections that succeed this one. For now, here's a tab that includes the left hand fingering AND the pick strokes that I use. It's honestly a mess of economy picking but it will expose you to the same phrases starting on different strokes... I highly recommend learning to economy pick it as well as strictly alternate pick it. It will slow you down at first but eventually gives you a lot of speed.

I've additionally attached the mp3 for the mini-song that I made that has the temporary title "grimebreath". I'm going to turn this into a whole song by adding another verse + chorus, then a bridge that modulates up a whole step, only to crash back down to the original key for a final Ramstein-esque chorus.

Even though I'm happy with my vocals on this demo, I do have a great singer in mind for this. A while back a recorded and produced a former student Brian wth his friend Cody. Their band was Shallow Grave and one of my favorite songs I did with them was Officer Suds, heard here-  https://shallowgraveil.bandcamp.com/track/officer-suds-2

So one day this year I intend to make it a full track and find a way to get him to my studio to sing for it. For the time being, it's a fun little demo track that exists by pure accident due to the circumstaces I mention in the video.

Next will be some theory and writing, and I still have to film the video for Acreage but I don't expect it will take long.

Till next time!
