Chord Progression Codex now ships to UK + CAN
Added 2024-02-10 17:10:41 +0000 UTCI'm finally set up with a distributor for quicker and broader shipping options! It's not a long-term solution but should work well for getting some of you a copy of the book right away. Sadly, there is a short list of countries I can ship to for a reasonable price. If your country is not listed here, you can send me an email and we can try to work something out. (signalsmusicjake@gmail.com)
CANADA, CZECHIA, GERMANY, DENMARK, SPAIN, FRANCE, GREAT BRITAIN, GREECE, HONG KONG, CROATIA, HUNGARY, ISRAEL, ITALY, KOREA SOUTH, LITHUANIA, LATVIA, MALAYSIA, POLAND, PORTUGAL, RUSSIA, SWEDEN, SINGAPORE, SLOVAKIA, TURKEY, ESTONIA,THAILAND and CHINA
If you live in one of those countries, you can use this link here to buy the book. You can also use coupon code DEX20 to take $20 off the total cost of your purchase. I wish I could offer a bigger discount, but the high costs involved for these orders make that unsustainable.
This week we'll do another live Q+A on TUESDAY NIGHT (the 13th) at 8pm CT, so you can expect to hear from me the day before to collect your questions. About a week after that I should be done with my next Signals lesson, which is going to be on mixed thirds and demonstrates the many ways that minor and major 3rds might both be employed in a single song. It should be a fun lesson that helps bridge the gap between "classical theory" and "blues rock theory," and also follows up on some theory advice I've given in the past.
That's all for now - you'll hear from me again Monday to prepare for the Q+A!

Hi. Is there any chance there is still a coupon code? Was hoping to order one

2024-02-20 14:42:57 +0000 UTCLove to hear this!!! It's meant to be a hands-on book and it sounds like that's how you're taking it. Don't worry if you forget some stuff though, I already have lol!

2024-02-12 22:35:33 +0000 UTCI just want to say that I love the book!! I will cherish my hard copy forever! I’m reading along on the web version - right now - as it’s easier to play along with in my DAW. I can program in progressions and play along. It’s really changing how I’m relating to music. I’ve played for decades, so I AM familiar with many of these concepts - by pure osmosis - if anything, but to be able to sit and compose along with your materials is an absolute game changer. As I’ve stated elsewhere, I can’t thank you enough for what you already offer for free. Thank you for taking the time to teach and share your knowledge. It’s invaluable. I’ll be rereading this book for - at least - a year until the concepts are fully there… and I’ll be glad to revisit it every time. Thank you, Jake!

2024-02-12 19:25:46 +0000 UTCNetherlands and Mexico are the two countries that I'm trying to get to next! If you're willing to pay the insane shipping rate ($53) then I'll send it now but that is just a crazy price IMO!!!

2024-02-12 14:13:21 +0000 UTCHmm it shouldn't say "sold out" anywhere and should still be purchasable using this link though? If you're having trouble let me know!
