Stuff that I am doing - 09/02/18
Added 2018-02-09 20:14:03 +0000 UTCKay bit of an up and down week in the whole personal life side of things, that and I still have a bloody cold which is annoying, but my voice sounds alright again so that's something. So I managed to finally get my first Black Mirror season 4 review done, the one for USS Callister is finished and up, lemme know if there's any problems:
Anyway I've managed to make time to record audio for the He Who moans video on Shada 2017 and the review of Black Mirror: Arkangel, and I'm just about to record that little skit I mentioned last time that's going out on Valentine's day starring the Living Flesh Supercomputer. So my next few vids look like this
Black Mirror: Uss Callister
Valentine's Day video
HWM - Shada 2017
Black Mirror: Arkangel
A let's watch shit TV bonus video
That should be sufficient for February, and I've been getting through them pretty quickly, so I'm gonna dedicate any time that I've got ahead of myself this month to starting prep work on that new Class video that I keep babbling about.
Anyway in other news, I've recently been watching that "The end of the Fucking world" thing that Channel 4 did last year. I recommend it, it does feel a bit directionless in parts but channel 4 can still put together a decent black comedy.
Um, I should probably update you on Broken Systems, shouldn't I?
Okay I've been working on that story about the guy who winds up in an airport in a fictional country that doesn't exist lately and its turned out to be pretty long, I'm nowhere near done yet, the ending's something I've been having troubles with. I think I'd like to rewatch the Black Mirror episode Playtest because I think the idea I have for the ending is similar to it and I need to be careful with it or it might not work.
I also keep trying to make time to write this story about a home for retired robots and appliances where the staff keep seeing apparitions of dead machines, and it turns out an old lady robot is projecting holograms of her past lives throughout the complex. I'm not sure how to present the narrative though, I started writing it as a simple third person thing centred on someone who works there, then I had this idea to present it as a textbook type of prose talking about robots with Alzheimers' Disease.
So yeah, in conclusion: not short of ideas, still working.
Anyway, we good? ....dunno why I'm asking, I've already hit publishing by the time you've read this.
Anyway, happy Friday everyone :)

Don't push yourself too far whilst you've got this cold though, even with all the ideas.
