Stuff that I am doing - 13/09/18
Added 2018-09-13 19:49:01 +0000 UTCHello. It is Thursday. This is some words. I am definitely not padding this out because I haven't got enough news this week. The number of sentences in this entry so far is five. Including the sentence fragment.
Okay so I finished my Annihilation and other book recommendations video today, featuring on camera me and everything.
So gonna post that either tomorrow or saturday, whenever I can be arsed.
Next video after this is either gonna end up being the second Council of Geeks/HWM crossover (this one on my channel this time) or the Bojack Horseman season 5 video (ITSTOMORROWITSTOMORROWITSTOMORROW!!!!GAAAAAAHHHH!!! *headexplodes)
But yeah, depends how long it'll take for me to form my thoughts on BJ5, as the script for the HWM crossover's done, I'm gonna film and begin drawing my end tomorrow and over the weekend, so it should come together pretty quickly.
I'm pushing the TV Dissection on Born and Bred towards the end of the month, closer to the season 11 airdate. I am getting all my material for this month's videos together, that's why content seems to slow at the start of the month and then get more frequent at the end of it.
Anyway in other news, I had a few drinks with Rob (Shearman) on Monday and we talked stories and he's been prodding me in the right direction on the book. Apparently there's this exhibition at the V&A on technology and the future which seems like it could be useful in prodding some final ideas out of me. Might take my camera and upload some stuff either here or on instagram or summit.
Oh and I had this idea when I was on the treadmill at the gym today which I don't think is suitable for the book but I may use somewhere: its set in a fake country where they've replaced their entire government with a box that just says YES or NO to any questions posed by members of the public - no detail, just makes simple decisions. SHOULD WE NUKE CHINA? YES.
I got this from this story in the news earlier in the week about that European Research group releasing a booklet on a no deal brexit where they're literally printed a Q&A that poses complicated questions about the problems Brexit's presenting and they just answer YES, NO, and no detail, nothing, just one or two word answers. Found this screencap:

Just find it so funny they thought "Yeah, this is a good idea. No one will make fun of this."
Satire is so difficult at the moment.
Um anyway s'about all for now.
BYEEEE
