Stuff that I am doing - 27/09/18
Added 2018-09-27 20:28:00 +0000 UTCIts here, its done, Bojack Horseman season 5 review. Wow this season was fucking heavy, even heavier than usual and writing the new video came with frequent eyeball scraping of "Jesus how can I put this into words?"
Lemme know if I've fucked anything up cause I always wanna get Bojack right.
Anyway so later this weekend I'm gonna post the new Snuggly Chibnall Time I recorded the other night with Billy, Jon and Jon doing his best Richard impression. The subject is top secret! Oohwhatisit?? Its a mystery!! ....but its the first episode of Chris Chibnall's first show "Born and Bred". Will try and get a TV dissection done before Doctor Who season 11 starts. I've been thinking about posting it the second the new episode starts airing just to piss off anyone coming to my channel expecting me to have reviewed it and finding a complete pisstake of a tangentially related show in a completely different genre :p
For the record I will be taking season 11 slowly like I did during season 9 and 10. I find taking a step back reduces the chances of accidentally making a hot-button screech-o-thon, which may be more entertaining and get more views and yeah I may end up not finishing season 11 reviews this year, but I'd prefer to write a reasonable review than one I might regret in hindsight. (Very nearly did that with Disenchantment, I feel a lot better for having given myself time for my thoughts to develop on that one).
That and....ffffuck October's nearly upon us and I need to get Class #8 done as progress on that is always slow going when I've got stuff on, that and things've been a bit hectic in the whole in that whole "real world" place that exists for some apalling reason. Okay, plan is that once the Born and Bred TV Dissection is done and on my channel in early access, putting everything aside and doing Class#8 till its done and ready cause there's a massive scene that I haven't even started on yet that'll probably take just as long as the assembly scene.
Anyway in other news I went to that future exhibition at the V&A that I mentioned last time (took some videos, might put a video together just for you guys,it was pretty cool) and I think (think) I have the last story I need for the book.
Okay: its called "Imitation Falls". So: a company creates artificial dimensions to cuturate perfect hidden holiday destinations. Its told from the perspective of a human construction worker, on a building site for a luxury resort in a half-finished pocket dimension. The site is surrounded by temporary fencing, beyond which is a black void of nothingness. After the first few weeks, the robot workers on site start acting up, and strange sounds start coming from outside the walls surrounding the unfinished plot of land. The robots start claiming that something was already here.
I'm probably gonna have to do some more research and it's probably gonna end up being a long one, as I have some twisty turny character ideas for it, I'd wager it'll be about 10'000 words when its done, so I'll be chipping away at it for a while. I just wanted some sort of cosmic lovecraftian horror type thing with a technology focus, here's hoping I can get this right.
I'm also starting to hear noises out of the publisher I sold my story about the End Credits of mankind scrolling across the sky so I'll probably end up doing a plug video next month at some stage.
Anyway, happy thursday people.
