Many of you have notices how slow is my activity on social media lately. Of course it is and I can't help it.
First the most obvious reason, how slow I'm drawing lately, I need to draw one hour, take a break of many minutes (sometimes that break lasts even hours), and then go back, and I get to have a little pain at the end of the day even that way, no matter what I do that pain is going to get back from time to time. But at least is not unbearable like before, now I can really keep going and it just bothers, but I don't want to risk it and take it as easy as possible.
But then it also happens that I'm staff at Confuror (my local furry convention), I'm in charge of the art department and the whole conbook. Especially this year I've had a lot of help unlike in other years, and I appreciate it because I can't be working for hours on that either, my wrist don't appreciate too much the usage of mouse for hours (despite I'm using an ergonomic one).
So... the only full resolution picture I could share with you this time is that drawing I got to do with colored pencils and gouaches, the first traditional painting I did after the arm pain, but despite it is beautiful in my opinion, it was a very bad idea to try colored pencils already, since I need to use a lot of strength on my arm for the pressure and opacity on hues. So, even if it is my personal favorite traditional media, I need to stop doing it for now, some day in the future, hopefully, I will retake colored pencils, since I truly love them.
But I could be doing many sketches and random drawings just to clear my mind and avoid stress due Confuror staff stuff, so in this post I'm also sharing you all the drawings I was doing during this time. I was advancing little by little some Patreon rewards that you can see as well here as WIPs, I'm gonna finish them eventually.
I was thinking that, in future times when I don't have too much to share here on Patreon, I can share you the full PDF of my first artbook from 2018, that idea was given by Friske Crisps (Thanks!).
I'm doing the possible to get recovered at 100%, so I'm sorry if I've been terribly slow at drawing, it also hurts a little in my economy, but I'm so thankful to have all of you on my side, I really appreciate your support a lot, otherwise I don't know what I would be doing now, I would need to rush on commissions and probably would affect in health again. So truly, thank you for your support, you are the very best in the world. Thank you so much for all your patience!
Sorry, once again, that I've been so absent in general at the internet, I have hundreds of unread messages, one day I will take many hours of my time to reply all of you.
Thank you so much, once again, and I hope you have a great day :D
Paco.
