Sebastian and Rien / Art Show Pieces + WIPs

I don't know why, if I'm having such terrible debts on this month... but I've been working only on personal projects. Pieces for me, pieces that come from my soul. I guess I'm resigned that no matter how many commissions I take this month I will have debts with the bank, so I'm accepting my destiny and leave those as problems for the Paco of the future, for after MFF Artists Alley and Art Show.

I'm producing a new T-shirt design that will be premiered during MFF, then it will be available also for Anthro Northwest and Further Confusion. On next Patreon post I will share you how it looks this new design!

But for now, I really needed this peace of spitting out some pieces I really wanted to do, next year I'm gonna resume commissions and Patreon rewards, I promise!
At this point of my life is kind of sad that I can't give myself the luxury of just doing some painting / illustrations for myself so I'm preparing these ones for the next MFF's Art Show. But for me it is very important that these pieces exist, I don't need to keep them for myself, I prefer to share them to the world and also someone gives a proper home.

The first illustration I'm sharing here is actually a commission, one that I was owing from some few months ago but finally I could finish, it is for Sebastian the roo and Rien the raccoon, having a pajama party playing DS while outside is raining, something cozy. You can find the full video process of this piece attached on this post.

Out from there everything is for myself:

-A Salamander (at first it was just because, but then I gave a purpose for it, suggesting something for NordicFuzzCon and this picture)
-A piece called "Bored in Class", when the feeling of needing to be on a place, and trying to entertain yourself at doodling at the edges of the notebook. I was kind of feeling like that when I thought about this idea, since we had to wait for many hours in a restaurant, and just having pen and paper was enough to have a good time. I recorded the process of this piece, you can find it on the attached files on this post!

WIPs:
-Quetzalcoatl. I'm making this piece in 4 separate pieces, the idea came when I bought an Ikea frame that has space for 4 separate postal size pictures, so I bought it and I'm gonna use it for framing this.
-Alien Intervention: I bought this decorative frame on a Parisina store (in one of those craft stores), it was on the sale part, and I thought it was going to be very cool to add some characters to the scene, so I started painting it. I haven't finished it.

I have so many more ideas but not sure if I will be able to finish absolutely everything I have in mind, but let's see!!
