I already had assumed that the 3rd dig would be historical archaeology (yay!), but I also assumed it would be about the colonial period. Is it simply that a cowboy image is code for ‘America’, or should we expect an excavation of a Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show campsite from a UK stop? Hmmm…
