That's awesome.

Wow, that is fantastic. The content augmentation like this 3D model makes the new Time Team experince much richer.

These 3D models are so cool! I would love to be able to 3D print a couple of these things, like the Gaulish Samian ware pottery fragment. Is there any chance of making any of the artifact models downloadable?

Tor Ravengael

Makes me think of an ax I found on my Grandfather's farm, here in the US, but not broken. I tripped over it while walking down a steep hill as a kid. Of course, it's from a totally different culture, but the similarities and differences are interesting.

Cindy Masek

Like the grinding stones, was this deliberately broken as part of a ritual?

Thank you for the info on how to find Episode 2. I wanted to re-watch it (already!) and could not find it.

Rosemary Henderson

When viewing the 3D model from the Text Link - Click and drag when the model is on screen and you should be able to rotate it in all directions. Click down with a Middle Mouse to drag the model Left and Right.

Thank you!! It was tagged as upcoming, but it does play 😁

Hi Jennifer - Part 2 is available to watch now: https://youtu.be/WEiOj-ZufaQ

Some of us are still waiting for Espisode 2 to drop...less than 4 hours now...

So loving these 3D models. Is there method to move the image left and right? The zoom in and out works great.

This doesn't relate specifically to the Boden example, but here's an article with general info on greenstone axes from Cornwall: https://cornishbirdblog.com/neolithic-greenstone-axe-factory-polstrong-valley-camborne/

I'm loving these 3D models!

Hopelessly at a loss here ... is there any consistency to the shapes of handles? Or, any hand-sized shaped rock?

Don Cook

What sort of greenstone ?
