Great video segment! Looks like this site has a lot of potential for understanding the purposes of the burning features.

Larry Besel, Jr.

More coverage of this site would be brilliant. An experimental archeological test of different smelting methods in Bronze Age-like pottery sounds good to me.

Gloria B

Yes please to seeing more of this site sounds like a huge area of occupation would love to see drone footage with the geophys to see how extensive the archaeology is. Great video

Wendy

Go for it!

Cameron’s notebook was fascinating! His drawings are outstanding and, with the labels and notes, really added so much more to my understanding!

Melissa

I, too, enjoy the Bronze Age digs, so I hope in the future TT will be able to discover more about these earlier societies.

Mary Lu Perham

🖐 I'm up for Time Team offering everything it can to investigate this site, be it a 3-day or individual Specialists like Derek popping in to offer their expertise in answering specific questions. We have the tech available to do good things & answer tough questions, so let's do it to it. 😁👍

Patricia Amero

This is quality content, thank you! Please TT can we have some more….? 🧡

Stephen Southworth

Definitely more please This early metalworking is so interesting, I find the work round to overcome the fragility of the ceramic to be most ingenious. I wonder how they discovered the method of air blasting from above.

Peter Carter

I would love to see more

Warren Feldman MD

Fascinating teaser! More, please!

Don Cook

So much more to learn about this site. I would love to see further excavations!

Cathleen Hanna

I found this site fascinating. The drawings were very well done and lifelike. I’d like to see Time Team expand on this site. There is definitely more to be revealed.

Robin Smith

This site definitely would be a great location for a, future Time Team dig...

Steve Mikre

Very promising. If there is domestic settlement nearby it would suggest that this was an active site for a long time. If metal was being produced, was it for purely local use, or could enough be produced to raise the possibility for trade. Any river or larger road routes nearby??

Dorothy Africa

Rather than looking at Bronze age sites around the coast where we know they exist. what about looking at an overall UK wide explanation of Bronze Age sites. In my research, it looks like Northamptonshire missed the Bronze Age and this raises the question of how many more counties missed the Age. A macro, rather than a micro, understanding would be nice.

Kenneth Brawn

This is so exciting! I hope you are able to be back and do more work!

Ann Wagner

Loved Cameron’s drawings in his notebook. Would be interested to learn more about the site

JUDITH COOKE
