Thoroughly enjoying Matt as the host -- well done!

W Pierce

Matt is not only a great sport with his reenactments, but he is an excellent Host as well!

Wendy Sengpiehl

You run the risk of spoiling us. Just sayin' ;-)

PHILIP MAY

I'm loving these daily updates with Matt. The dig, the people and their stories, and the history. The videos have been wonderful!

Kerry Hennigan

I love Matt as the front man 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

james mccarthy

Mat is doing a great job on these episodes -as good as the main ones. Just shows the high standard of production that can be achieved even with quick turnaround

Elizabeth West

Good job Mat! Nice to watch Americans over there. :)

J. Andrew Lockhart

Another great dig watch segment. I knew we'd get Matt portraying someone eventually.

Mark Kahn is a proper military historian. He correctly named the 30.06 holder as a “clip” (no moving parts) and not a “magazine” (has moving parts such as a spring and follower).👍🇬🇧🇺🇸

This dig is so close to my heart. It has brought me to tears multiple times. The 101st's home base at Fort Campbell is near to us and we've met many soldiers from there through the years. My grandfather fought in the Pacific in WW2 and two of his brothers fought in Europe. They were three of seven brothers and they are all gone now. We just had a family reunion and their pictures in uniform were there. It is lovely to see things come out of the dig like a pocketknife, my grandfather always carried one and it did it all - cut rope, pare apples, make hickory whistles, cut a cloth for a bandage - whatever he needed. Having those personal touches in a museum will help to preserve the memory of those brave men, who went when asked.

Kathy Shelton

Amazing how quickly they can shoot, edit and master these shows. Props the Time Team producers!

Michael O'Connor

This is easily the best Dig Watch series Time Team has created to date...🇬🇧🇺🇸

Florence Nightingale (1820-1910) - “Never give nor take an excuse.”

Remember the Nightingale -

Brilliant - rain, a coronation and green screen historical re-enactment. And with Stewart’s discoveries, more to come. This has been an amazing experience. What a fantastic group of people to have spent time with.

I am loving every minute of it as well! I would like to comment on the coronation, though. One of the guys said he was enjoying being present for such a historical event, and that we in The States don't have that kind of history here. I'd like to point out, and as archaeologists I'm sure you'd agree, that the Coronation actually is part of our history as well. We, as colonists, migrated to the US from Britain. At least those who are a decendent of the British colonies can consider the Coronation, or at least the roots of the tradition, as part of our precolonial history.

Katie Runion

I am enjoying these reports so much! The original Time Team spirit is strong in these team members! Great work, video crew, Matt, Stewart, Kerry, and all the diggers I've missing the names of, and veterans and local archaeologists!

Ann Wagner

So glad I got to support you guyz with this brilliant dig & typical weather as well :)
