Dig Watch: BoB Operation Nightingale (Wiltshire): Trench 1 – 3D model
Added 2023-05-16 09:01:07 +0000 UTCIt's time to join us in one of our trenches from Aldbourne, with Operation Nightingale.
Here's a 3D photogrammetry model of Trench 1, recorded by Adam Stanford. View the model HERE.
The model clearly shows the rows of concrete pads that supported the structure – a notably different construction to another hut we excavated featuring brick courses still in situ.
This trench provided some interesting finds, including a spoked wheel, probably from a motorbike!
