Hey, i just joined last week (after trying to ignore joining for 2 years lol). I love ths community style excavation, it reminds me of the late great Mick Aston back in the day (on an old episode) talking enthusiastically about involving the local community, driving enthusiasm for local archaeology Well done Time Team. I feel very lucky about this, although I know I’m only one of thousands of his descendants. While I understand some may think this (the family’s story) is extraneous to archaeology, isn’t part of our fascination with it is the imagining of what life was like during the time frame of the investigation? Similar the the reenactment antics of Phil and Matt?

I do wonder if it is because they haven't had much time to edit the footage. Perhaps in a few weeks' time TT will post some kind of excavation report.

It would be interesting to show some of the gravestones in the cemetery around the church, even just a few minutes. This may be of interest to others watching as well.
