Not that I'm plugging for how amazing librarians are! No, I'm not doing that.

Elaine, I looked this up on WorldCat, and I offer this with a big grain of salt, but it appears to be an article/essay that also appeared in the English Historical Review, and which might be available in an article database. Here in the US, I'd call the closest academic library to get more information, and then I'd try to borrow the book or get a copy of the article through interlibrary loan at my local library. It's really worth at least a phone call to find out what they can do for you. I recently called Northwestern U. for help with some research and got an hour of a librarian's time and some good resources, even though I have no affiliation with the university.

Hi Elaine, In the case you didn't see this option, I found one here for 215 USD + 6 USD s/h. Good luck: https://www.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDetailsPL?bi=31051320249&searchurl=an%3Dgeake%2Bhelen%26sortby%3D17%26tn%3Dearly%2Bdeira%2Barchaeological%2Bstudies&cm_sp=snippet-_-srp1-_-title1 .

Have you seen Michael Wood's Story of England? It did something very similar, only in Kibworth, Leicestershire.

Jeff Lanam

I enjoy seeing everyone able to give their thoughts in real time. Thank you so much for addressing my question. I do wonder if the Team feels the same attention to rescue and recovery should be given to significant sites on agricultural land as is given to construction or development sites? Funding always being the problem it is, it is lovely to see the volunteers who come to participate.

Is there a way to get Helens book: Early Deira: Archaeological studies of the East Riding in the fourth to ninth centuries AD anywhere? it costs 900 Euro on amazon - i gather they dont have it in stock

Elaine Molenaar

This was wonderful! What Time Team does so well is telling the story of the place - pulling together all the finds from each discipline.

Dyana Mason

Really enjoyable and interesting. Thanks to everyone.

Couldn’t make it—I so value these replays. Cheers!

I am very interested in where my ancestors lived in north east Lincolnshire. What were three tiny hamlets became one village, now a town. I would love to see a DVD or maybe better method of showing how it all developed over the centuries. Happy to provide a bit of the cost. How do I find someone who would do it?

Antony Chapman

Thank you to everyone for your time and insights. I enjoy these Q&As as much as the shows, adding another level of inclusion and also understanding for me as a non-academic. Cheers to all 🍻

Patricia Amero

Thank you for an incredible video, Derek and Lawrence are delightful addition to the “Team”!

Larry Besel, Jr.

That was so good! When Helen said she felt like she’d let the people down, I wanted to give her a big hug. I absolutely get it.

I believe I enjoy these after dig sessions/debriefs almost, almost, as much as the finished episodes. As an added bonus they provide Emily with supplementary therapy.

Eggs Ackley

Great session. Thanks very much.

DIANA R NELSON

Such a great session! Thanks for posting the replay. It's so awesome to see how passionate everyone is about archaeology, even if they have been doing it since the days of the original Time Team. And Naomi, I have to mention that I love your crocheted stripey sweater reminiscent of Mick. :)

Joanne Kellam

Thank you so much for making this available to those of us in different time zones. I enjoyed it all so much

Anne Collinson

Excellent session! I enjoyed every minute of it...

Steve Mikre

It was a great session. Thank you. I got my copy of Theophilus today.📚
