Just For Fun: The Answer is Blowin' in the Wind

It's not quite Friday yet, but it feels like it should be! So, just for fun, here's a little teaser clip of something coming up in the pipelines.

Over the summer, members of the team have been dropping in on various sites across the UK, and we'll be sharing updates from the field.

One particular site has been unearthing some incredible finds, as Lawrence discovered. Sometimes, when we turn the cameras on the magic just happens!

We're putting the finishing touches on the next Time Team News bulletin, when we'll be sharing more on this and other stories, including one or two suggested by you.

More Digs Soon

In other news, we're gearing up for more digs. We look forward to sharing details with you on Patreon very soon.

Sarcophagus (Complete Dig) Watch-Along

By popular demand, we've compiled Days 1 and 2 of our 2022 Sarcophagus dig into one single edit for your viewing pleasure. We'll be sharing this on Saturday at 7pm BST on YouTube, so please do join us for a watch-along and take part in the live chat.

No doubt you've seen both halves already, but why not get comfy and relive the experience again in one single sitting!

We're also working on updated feature-length versions of our recent Knights Hospitaller Preceptory and Anglo-Saxon Cemetery episodes. Details to be announced.

Thanks again from us all at TT HQ!

Hi Diana, post-excavation research and reporting is still ongoing, and we'll share an update as that develops.

Wondering where the updated info is on the lady that was buried. Was she really in her 30s? Was there more information from her bones than “just” the defensive wound on her hand, and could something have hit an artery from that defensive wound angle? What about the soil from underneath? I did see the posts on the pet bones, pottery, etc. Showing these 2 episodes together gave me more questions! And wasn’t there a hint about what might have happened to the skull? 🤔

I am so looking forward to this over the weekend. I'm currently in the middle of writing a report on a 15th C farmhouse, part of which I don't believe is original - on first glance it looks like part of the original build, but when you look more closely it has elements brought in from other buildings (It reminds me of Llygadwy, where nothing is quite what it seems). Suffice to say my report has to overturn the planning report and also a book on the property! Eeek!

whoosh 💨 😅🤣

What perfect planning! I'm looking forward to the extended episodes and to learning about new digs.

Nothing like serendipity on Time Team. Love it!

I was on this dig for two weeks (my second season with Hugh) at it was amazing. We definitely answered some of the questions, and depending on how some pottery finds sort out, maybe all of Hugh’s goals for the dig. I look forward to seeing more of the footage from the Time Team visit.

That was a riot! Just what I needed on a Thursday-afternoon-waiting-for-Friday-to-be-over. But how intriguing....

Quite good timing!

Sounds great!

Looking forward everything coming up!
