Yes - this is certainly one of the more detailed models I have made for Time Team. Creating the bas relief motifs including the rider on horseback and fallen enemy figure took most of the time. Thank you for the feedback.

It looks a hefty object! Thanks for the prompt about the free access to the Doggerland book. This is a wonderful service to provide for online scholars like me! Thanks to Prof Luc Amkreutz and co-authors for this, and thanks to Time Team for having the professor on the latest edition of TT News, and including it on the finds table here.

It's based on a 2,000 year old Roman calvary helmet, discovered in Leicestershire that has gone on display alongside new reconstructions.
