Pledge Pause for...Some While

If you're in a hurry, here's a quick summary of the clumsy words below:

- Development on the current project will be paused for an undetermined period.

- After the pause, I'll announce the future plans.

It's been a year since this project's first debut. I'm sure we've all been through a lot. It's time to make a summary of this one year.

Let's talk about this project first. To be honest, the performance so far is...below my expectation. I didn't set a particular target within a particular time. But there is still a long way to achieve what I expect if I decide to keep on working on my brand.

Here are some potential reasons. I did notice that my update frequency was unsatisfactory to you guys. That could be the main reason. Also, it could be me overestimating my work or not enough promotions.

But regardless of the reasons, I need some breakthroughs and try something new to change the situation, and hence sustaining my work. I decide to stop updating this project for a while. 

In the meantime, I'll do 2 things.

First, I'll make an overall observation of people's reactions and results of this project after this v0.4 update. Based on the result, I need to make some considerations about its sustainability and probably, some big decisions on the future of this project.

Second, I'd be working on a new project. If capable, I'd release some progress or art pieces during the pause.

I know, this could be a risky and controversial move. Some of you may think I shouldn't start a new project before finishing one. And many might leave if I decided to stop the current project.

But as I mentioned above, I need to try something new. If you may, since you won't be asked for any payment during the pause, please stay as patrons for any news or updates. You could decide to leave or not by the time.

Of course, the pause does not mean Succubus Game is terminated forever. If v0.4 strikes a good result or my new project fails, I'd be sticking back to its development.

I can't give an exact date for my return. But by that time, I'd bring you guys the future plans, and probably a new game demo. And host a poll to collect opinions and feedback from you to make further decisions.

Forgive me if I couldn't organize and explain everything clearly by text.
