Women's main defense/weapon for millenia has been the ability to manipulate men by their emotions. The preoccupation with sex is many times a desperate need for validation. This works because boys from a very young age are shamed for 90% of their emotions and thus become alienated from themselves. This creates a need for us to experience our own emotions vicariously through women, and women will to some extent hold space for a man's inner world and validate him, but it is fully dependent on her need for resources from the man. This is how society has kept men running the treadmill and fighting and kept women from being able to directly control resources. At this point it's In the genes. But now we have allowed women free access to resources, so it's up to us men to explore and self validate our own inner world, or we will always be manipulated.
