Hey folks! Kaye here. I'm writing to let you know that the finalized schedule for the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, which is coming up fast. Here's the lowdown.

Saturday, October 18 at 1:15 PM: Retronauts Panel

Gary and I will be appearing on the Retronauts Panel, "The Best and Worst of Retro Game Horror", which is happening at 1:15 PM in the Blue Auditorium. This is a fun topic, and both Gary and myself have guested on different versions of it.

Note: I'm not sure they're talking about Zombies Ate My Neighbors, I just like that game a lot.

Saturday, October 18 at 7:00 PM: Quarterworld Meetup

Duckfeed and the Retronauts will be holding a joint meetup at the Quarterworld Arcade & Bar on Saturday October 18 at 7:00pm local time. It's located at 4811 SE Hawthorne Blvd., which is 12 minutes away from the convention center by ride share. Quarterworld is an excellent arcade that has hosted us in the past, and we will have a designated area to meet up.

Sunday, October 19 at 2:00 PM: Watch Out for Fireballs! Panel

On Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Red Auditorium, Gary and I will be joined by Bob Mackey and Jeremy Parish to talk about the Best and Worst 7/10 Games. We each will bring an example of a 7/10 (Derogatory) and a 7/10 (Non-Derogatory) game to discuss the different sides of mediocrity.

Note: We're probably not going to talk about Hotel Dusk, but I brought that game the last time we covered this topic. It's just a very 7/10 game with a striking key visual.
