New Patron Reward: The Lab Rats Art Book
Added 2017-05-15 06:13:35 +0000 UTCSince the beginning of development for Lab Rats I have had a Donator tier for patrons. The Donator tier didn't include anything extra, beyond my heartfelt thank you and a promise to do the best work that I could. A few amazing people felt confident enough in this project to fund Lab Rats at that level, and I've been looking for a way to reward them for that trust.
Today, I'm finally able to reveal that reward! Over the last few weeks I have contacted a few artists and commissioned a collection of images from them. I've compiled those images into the Lab Rats Art Book. This "book" is a stand alone image gallery that currently contains six images, sorted by various tags for easy viewing. Another image involving Nora and Stephanie is underway and will be added soon. Going forward I intend to commission more works to grow the Art Book, selecting from ideas that are suggested by Benefactor tier supporters. The picture above is an example of those found in the Art Book, created by Miss Behaviour.
For the Art Book I wasn't content with simply sending out a .zip file with all of images inside. I have instead written a short Ren'py program to view them, either divided up by tags or every image in the gallery. This lets the user view only images that include Nora, only images that include a cum shot., ect.
In the spirit of Lab Rats and providing the code for the project, I'm also releasing the image viewer to everyone. It doesn't contain the images from the Art Book, but may prove useful to anyone who wants to play around with Ren'py and display a gallery of images. I've done my best to comment the code and provide step by step instructions for adding your own images and tags. It's a possibility right now, and one of the reasons all of the art will reflect actual scenes in the game. For now though these are just bonuses to my amazing patrons, without whom this project couldn't gotten nearly as far as it has.

I recon they would be very helpful should the need to replay due to difficult save situations. Any way thanks for the great material once again.
