Planning for the Future
Added 2017-05-30 04:23:37 +0000 UTCv0.7.0 is out for testing now and nothing seems to be critically broken. We should be on schedule for the public release of v0.7.1 this Thursday night! With that rolling out soon, I thought it was a good idea to take a moment and see what's next on the chopping block.
0.7.1 - The public version of v0.7, has a pile of bug fixes and a few UI changes to improve readability and gameplay experience.
0.7.2 - The new x.x.2 designation will be for the android version of Lab Rats, which I'm working on right now. The lions share of the game works as is already, but I want to take some time and make sure it's readable and playable on smaller devices. This will be released to patrons at the same time v0.7.1 is released to the public, and will be released to everyone once it's bug free.
v0.8 - The public/private update I've been wanting to work on for a long time. This will introduce the concept of "tags", which will be the last major gameplay element that will be added to the game. These tags will change dialogue, unlock major and minor scenes that focus on the content of the tag earlier, and may influence the endings you are able to get.
v0.9 - The wet and wild update. A content update adding a few major and minor scenes centering around the girls in their swimsuits. All of the important game systems will be in place at this point, so all I need to do is write content and create image sets. I'll use the extra time I have to develop prototypes for the sequel to Lab Rats and start moving towards that.
v0.10 - The cum guzzler update. Another tag update, this time focusing on adding content that involve the girls loving cum. Development of the LR2 prototype will continue in parallel with LR1 during this time, since they require different skill sets and one is a nice break from the other.
v0.11 and beyond - More content updates, adding more tags focused on various things. High on the list right now is anal and light bondage. LR2 will continue to be developed alongside LR1.
v1.0 - Once Lab Rats 1 is filled with enough content that I'm satisfied I will call it finished and release the definitive v1.0 version. Full development time will then be shifted to Lab Rats 2, which should be far enough along in development that it can be considered a game in it's own right.

That's probably for the best. Also, realistically, you're not likely to see much signs of pregnancy within that first three months, so having it as a potential ending makes a lot more sense.

2017-05-31 13:28:23 +0000 UTCYou're not. I feel a poll, by patrons, could allow for some user input into the game without dominating too much. Vren's done a bang up job so far, and I trust his decisions, but allowing some options to scratch people's various kinks would be awesome.

I for one would like to see an option to get one (or more) the "test subjects" pregnant, and have an epilogue render showing some maternity-wear or other such results to scratch MY personal itch. I hope I am not alone in that, and would like to see if others might support that option...
