Lab Rats 2 Prototype Work
Added 2017-07-23 08:09:54 +0000 UTCv0.9.0 is out in the wild for testing over the next week, which means I have some time to work on the prototype for Lab Rats 2. For this week I have two major goals:
1) Finish the character creation and clothing system. This includes generating girls with random body types, hair styles, and colours, and setting various outfits for them.
2) Implement the basics of the gameplay loop. For now, this will be the time system, map movement system, and the start of the job system.
I'll be talking a little more about the design of the game and what the gameplay will be looking like this week. I'll also have some pictures to show off the cool new functionality I've coded in so far.

2017-07-27 01:36:27 +0000 UTCI haven't played this game since v.07 but i guess the NTR thing was optional, but keeps happening i just used some red serum on lily and then go to her room and she is flirting with guy on facebook and send nudes so i stopped using serums in her for 2 weeks expecting to reduce the slut level after that i started using only blue serums to not raise slut level wait a week go to her room and she is fucking the guy have a dildo and very used lingerie. What i did wrong? How can i reduce the slut level? How can i see the slut level? So viewing the minor and major events file it looks like all the events even for mc requires slut level, it is worth to play this game without raising the slut level or there will be lost all the scenes?

Given the increase in training options in v1 it was possible to reach a state where it would become very hard (read impossible) to bring certain characters back to 100+ influence since training reduces influence. Some simple changes would either be a max added to resistance gain or to take into consideration training/current influence. Eg resistance gain = max(max(10 * num_occurrences, 200) - influence * (0.25 + 0.25 * num_trainings), 10)

2017-07-24 10:02:09 +0000 UTCBut that's not soon enough! I'm really excited for this because as much as I like the game I'm more of a fan of over exaggerated proportions. So the models don't excite me as much as the ones in Corruption from MrC for example. So if there are customizable proportions in the next game that's probably the biggest boon for me.

2017-07-24 05:51:45 +0000 UTCThey're likely to be remade in the new game, with the possibility of bonus stats/options depending on your score in LR1. The bulk of the gameplay in LR2 will be very different though, so they won't be as front and center as they are currently.
