Lab Rats v0.11.0 Release!

I didn't get the major ending scenes at the end of the game. Just the ones that lead up to the final endings such as convincing nora to stay at the lab etc. I added the patch you posted and everything but i don't know what to do. I'm not getting an error or anything. I really want to see the new endings.

Hmm, it should work fine on macs. If it's not loading, it's most likely a problem with Renpy rather than with Lab Rats in particular, so you may want to use google to help you troubleshoot that.

Can't seem to get game on mac. I get the red haired girl w hat icon but the file is only 54 kb and never opens. Hope im just missing something obvious.

Unfortunately not. It's just an unfortunate side effect of the way Ren'py handles saves, the newer versions of the game expect certain variables to be initialized when you start playing. If you're playing from an old save that won't have happened, and it will throw an exception when you reach that point.

I didn't have the time to make up endings for every permutation of the girls unfortunately, so the only ones in the game are the 5 solo pregnant endings and the 1 harem pregnant ending. I may add a few more going forward, just because they're fun to work on (A Mom and Lily specific one would probably be high on the list).

Is there anyway to get old saves (0.8.1) to work with newer versions?

right that's the pregnant harem ending with every girl, which wasn't that hard. I was talking about an ending SPECIFICALLY with Nora, Lily and Mom only. I think I might have been confused because Vren made a preview post with those 3 together, pregnant

Assuming you have 100 pregnancy pts with each, "Convince Nora to let you say." "Show them whose boss," "Cam girl, Alexa." The alternate, endings, which if you want to see all, (and are also awesome), don't convince Nora, the rest the same.

I start a new game every time. Update: I reloaded the game, and with a fresh game I didn't have the exception errors again. Weird. Must've been some corruption on the first load. Anyway, now game works great. Sorry for the problem!

so two things I noticed after adding the patch: 1) the patch works and the error disappeared. 2) I did not realize in an earlier post you mentioned that having the anal tag will DECREASE the pregnancy probability, even with the public slut tag

I've posted a new ending file above that should solve the problems with the ending. It should work with your existing saves from this version, so give it a try and let me know if it's still causing problems.

Hmm, that seems like a different problem than the other ones being reported. Did you start a new game, or are you playing with saves from an older version?

I've fixed the problem, there is a link to the corrected ending file above. I guess I was tired when I wrote this section, because there were two pretty basic errors. One, I should have called sisO, not lilyO. Second, I needed to call the label increase_preg(the_girl), not a function. The fix should work with existing saves, so let me know if there are still problems with it.

I got the error for the pregnancy ending using just the cumslut tag.

Both of you are correct.. should be sisO, and the increase function is not defined in the script.

I did the same thing a get an error although one girl didn't have the anal tag and still didn't receive a pregnant ending with her.

Is trying to achieve multiple tags (pregnancy with cumslut with public slut with anal tags, yes I got them all on a few girls) what causes the endings to not register correctly and get the errors?

Yep, getting exception errors during beach scenes (when you choose the "right" action for each girl), and during the lab hours when Nora asks for you to do inventory.

Great update. My suggestion is that the MC stumbles across a pregnancy test when one of the girl's get's pregnant. That way the player knows.

I had a quick look through the code when I got these errors and I don't think the increase_preg functions exist anywhere, could be wrong though...

Could it be the script.rpy defines Lily as sisO not lilyO?
